RoSPA stands for The Royal Society for the Prevention of accidents. It is a British charity organization that has been working for over 100 years to help people recognize and reduce their risk of accidents at home, on the road, at work, and at leisure. RoSPA is a leading voice in health and safety that campaigns to reduce avoidable accidents and injuries. Their vision is to create a life free from accidental injury, and with the support of their members, this is at the core of everything they do. They provide guidance on supporting staff through menopause at work, improving training the trainers, developing courses and safety standards in the GCC, and much more.
Highfield is a global leader in compliance, work-based learning, accredited and apprenticeship qualifications and one of the UK’s most recognisable awarding organisations. As such highfield is regulated by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales, SQA Accreditation, the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA), and the Security Industry Authority (SIA). In addition to this, highfield is also a government-regulated end-point assessment organisation (EPAO), a 2024 Chamber Large Business of the Year winner, as well as a 2024 King’s Award for Enterprise winner.

RoSPA is a charity that has championed road safety for over one hun- dred years. We believe that our breadth of experience is unrivalled in the market. We are committed to preventing accidents, while seek- ing to strike the right balance between prescription and individual choice. Our vision is life, free from serious accidental injury.
Since 1917 RoSPA have campaigned, lobbied, trained and consult- ed on saving lives and reducing injuries. During this time, we’ve re- mained an instrumental force in every piece of UK safety legislation, and continue to set the standard in training the next generation of driver trainers and road safety managers, through a wide variety of courses, seminars and initiatives and in-company consultancy on a range of topics.
RoSPA has always worked to improve Road Safety. 25 years ago we published Managing Occupational Road Risk as the authoritative guide for organisations to understand the issue and guide them how to manage it. RoSPA policy teams work with industry special- ists around the world to establish standards for road safety. RoSPA is frequently asked for media interviews and industry consultations on developing topics. Our team have produced many webinars on var- ious topics across the world and our Fleet safety awards have been established internationally for decades. We have been instrumental in seat belt and mobile phone legislation in the UK and work with international organisations to train their drivers and managers. Our thorough leadership is guided by Committees that include specialists and academics from across the road and transport industry .
